   Hi,
   i run P2 on WPMU powered blog, but inserting youtube link doesn't work.
   It just stays there as text: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blablabla]

   Do i need some video support plugin installed or so?

   Have you tried on a standard wp install (not MU)?

   I ask this because this pretty function doesn't work even on wordpress 2.7.1 (not MU). And seems that it's not required to install any plugin.

   im using self hosted WP and the same issue is happening - the video link just displays as text.

   I am using a fresf install of 2.7.1

   I've also got a problem with posting videos from youtube etc.

   My problem is that they dont show up on the front screen when you enter my site, but when you click on the specific post, the video loads...

   Help please!

   Have you tried the unfiltered-mu plugin that prevents mu from stripping iframe, embed, etc. Might also work on this.

   That however, did not work for me.

   There has to be such an easy solution to this...

   I havent had this problem with any other theme.

    Maybe try the WordPress Video Plugin. Then you can enter it in like so:
    [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blablabla
    or like
    [youtube blablabla].

    Omg, I just figured this one out.
    I have "AJAXed" installed.

    Solution, go to:
    Appearance -> AJAXed WordPress
    Click tab "Post & Pages"
    Unclick "Use Simple Posts" in the top left corner.
    Save!

    Worked like a charm for me. :)
