Posting to multiple sites (I know, I know...) (3 posts)

Before someone blows me out of the water (which, it's possible- I may deserve), hear me out.

I agree and understand that it's bad to post to two different websites. A lot of people do it to get more traffic and, as a result, make more money.

What I have are two sites, each with their own domain, through WordPress Multisite.

For years, I've posted about running, swimming, biking, family, etc. to one site: http://www.bloodytoe.com. However, there is a group of people who expect to see posts that are only about swimming, through the domain http://www.swimwithoutwalls.com.

I'd like to solve the following, ethically: I'd like for those who already read my blog at http://www.bloodytoe.com to be able to continue to read about my adventures in swimming. I'd also like for this new group of people (those who couldn't care less about my family, running or biking, to be able to read about my various swims at http://www.swimwithoutwalls.com.

I'd prefer to not have to post twice (plus, I don't think I'm supposed to, Google-wise.) Are there any creative ideas for not breaking Google ethics, but also allowing content to be in two places? I'm guessing not, but thought I'd throw this out there...

    Thanks,

    Nathan

  2. This would be a textbook case for WordPress MU Sitewide Tags.

Install it and make bloodytoe the main (tags) site. Then you have it pull in swimwithoutwalls posts. But here's the trick: The posts link back to swimwithoutwalls.com! So you get the benefit you want, and no SEO loss :D
