Update:
After posting this, it dawned on me that normally when working on this site, I would have the other site also open in another tab. I wondered if there could be a conflict. I shut down the first site (the successful one), rebooted the computer and only opened the second site.
After five tests, 4 have posted successfully to both Facebook and Twitter. This was from a test of three scheduled posts and 2 immediate.
Making progress it seems. I guess there is some strange conflict going on there.
Could you let me know the URL of the site where you’re having issues so I can have a closer look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

Could you also walk me through the steps you follow to publish a post on that site? Do you use plugins to clone or duplicate posts? Do you schedule these posts, or publish them directly?
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply Jeremy.
I have two sites in development. It seems one works the majority of the time without problem. It is http://www.mickeyopolis.com
The other is much more erratic. It is http://www.gallifreytoday.com. This morning I posted to this one and the post never made it to twitter or Facebook.
On both sites I do the same thing. I am only using Jetpack to feed these to external sources. I sometimes use immediate posting, and other times I use scheduled posting. I haven’t noticed whether there is a difference in the success rate based on this choice.
I appreciate your taking a look and if you need more info, don’t hesitate to ask!

I checked your Jetpack settings, and your site seems to be properly connected at the moment.
If you still experience issues, could you try to reconnect to Facebook, by following the instructions here:

Let me know if it helps.
