Posting Question – Image links to page with video/flash

This may be a silly question, but here goes:
I post videos and flash(swf) games on my blog.
I want my main page to show only a picture or thumbnail that I insert of the video or game and then when the post link is clicked it will go to the post page and you can watch the video or flash game.

Is there a simple way to do this or is there a plugin?

I want the person to have to go to a different page
to play the video or game…not be able to do it on the main page.
