• Recently I have been wondering why you could not edit posts with features like changing the font and other things. I then searched for plugins that would try to change the toolbars on wordpress to ones more similar on microsoft word. None of them worked. I kept searching and came across a video about posting on wordpress @ http://wordpress.tv/2009/01/15/writing-and-publishing-a-post/. I quickly discovered while watching the video that his page did have a more expanded toolbar then mine. No matter if I switched to the visual or html tab on my wordpress posting page I always get the toolbar that appears at the 17 second mark and not the one the that pops up next.
Is my site having a error and if so how can I fix it?
Or is he using a plugin and if so could you tell me the download page because all the ones I have tried have failed miserably.

Ps the only buttons on the visual toolbar are: b,i,link,b-quote,del,ins,ing,ul,ol,li,code,more,lookup,close tags.

  • The 20 second mark is the standard WP Toolbar.

If you have just one bar click on the “show hide / kitchen sink” icon – 2nd from the right side, (has 3 lines of real little boxes that are different colors) That should show / hide the 2nd bar.

Um I do not have that icon for my wordpress edit. On the visual tab I only have the upload/insert button and on the html it is the previous toolbar layout named in my last post. I do not see the 3 lines of real little boxes that are different colors
