    hello all,

i'm running the latest release of WP and was wondering if there is a way of creating a post offline and have it save it as a draft until getting back online? when i was using livejournal, there was an open source application that you could download and use called logjam. it worked great. i was able to create new posts, save them as drafts, and then post them once i was back online.

is there anything like this for WP?

    thanks for the help.

Did you try the "Save as Draft" button in your admin "write post" interface?

You would still need to be online to do that, since it still saves it in the database.

Thanks to the open protocol employed, there are a lot of programs that handle this. The key word to search for is XML RPC. As ever, the Codex comes to hand.
