Posting Issue – Permalinks

My home page is where my posts appear, http://www.kerganedwards-stout.com

However, when I create a new post, it is automatically generating this permalink:

http://kerganedwards-stout.com/http:/kerganedwards-stout.com/writing/shortstories/antiquelace

There is NO edit button next to it, just the short link button.

Why is it automatically directing my posts to that convoluted address, and how can I change it to what I want?

Any feeback is appreciated. And, as I’m pretty inexperienced, the more simple the directions, the better! 🙂
