posting from another WP installation?

    Hi! I just wanted to know if there is a way to integrate a WP installation posts to another WP installation. Like this: I have my own blog powered by WP. Then there’s a friend of mine with another WP powered blog.

    We wanted to merge both blog to a common colab weblog (preferentially merging one into the other and not by creating a third WP installation). Can this be done?

    well, I’m not looking into importing as one normaly assume… I may call what I wanted to do “real-time importing” just as my friend blogs a post my blog (the aggregating one) will import it automaticaly to my database and display it.

    Couldn’t you implement this by using only one database for both wp installs?

    well, I’m not looking into importing as one normaly assume… I may call what I wanted to do “real-time importing” just as my friend blogs a post my blog (the aggregating one) will import it automaticaly to my database and display it.

    ?? Yes, got that from your previous identical post. Don’t know about the plugin alphaoide is talking about, but I was thinking that if you two have only one database, you can install wp on each site, pointing to the same db, and both installs should show the same posts.

    If that’s not possible, I’m sure someone will say so….
