Posting a comment causes a 'Like'? & Deleting doesn't remove comment amount

Once the item is open, look at the comment box, it has “2 Likes” I tested it out with 2 comments just to be sure. Every time someone comments it saves it as a Like as well. How do I get rid of that?

Also deleting comments doesn’t work too well. The comment section remains at the amount of comments that have been posted despite if the comments have been deleted or not.

I suspect that the ‘Likes’ and comments remaining the same are linked somehow. I hope someone can help, it would be a crucial step in running my website more smoothly.
