what is the different between new post and new page? if i would like to create a portfolio site, and i would like to separate my work by category, such as, my photo, my design, and my logo design. under each category, i wanna show at least 3 different work. should i put my content on post or page?
    thanks

A Post is a chronologically ordered content type, that has built-in taxonomies (Category and Tag), and is chronologically and/or taxonomically related to other Posts.

A Page is static content, not related chronologically or taxonomically to any other Page.

Post: blog post, news, announcements, etc.

Page: "About Me", "Contact", "Terms and Conditions", etc.
