   Hey,
   I am trying to post video like .wmv files or even mpg files on my wordpress blog. The problem is I don't want to embed it from another site, I want to host the files myself. I am using it for my primary school class and I don't want the files to be on youtube or another type of service.

   Also, I want the students to be able to insert the video so I want the task to be a simple as possible.

   Is there a way or a plugin that will allow a member to insert a video file into a blog? I am happy to convert to different files types to get this to work.

   If your video is on the same machine as your wordpress site - simply go to Edit post and Add Video and follow the instructions.
