I'm trying to set it up so that all email sent to a certain address will be posted.

    1. I'm using a google apps email address, so it's port 993 or 993 depending if I want pop or imap. This is all pretty straightforwards. My posts never show up though, so I'm curious

    2. How often does wordpress check the email address that I entered?
Are the emails drafts by default? I want to know because this is a project for work and i don't want my work's blog to have a dozen posts on it at midnight tonight with titles like "test-test" "testes 123" "wtf? why doesn't this work?" etc.

    Check the documentation here:

When I put the iframe in and tell it to go here:

    http://www.nextadvisor.com/blog/wp-mail.php

Then it tries and tries to load the script but can't. wp-mail.php is 775, does it have to be 777? I really don't like putting anything at 777 anywhere ever.

If I just try to point my browser at the script it tells me:

    "POP3 connect: Error []"

Even if I set it to use Imap, it still will say this. Is this a problem on gmail's end?

OK I got off of Gmail and set up a new e-mail account so that I can use a regular pop3 instead of SSL and I now get this when i go to wp-mail.php:

    POP3 connect: Error [0] [Success]

This guy seems to have had the same problem.
