Following an auto-upgrade to 3.1, I’m having a couple of issues!

    1) I cannot get drop downs in the dashboard to expand. The cursor changes indicating they area is active but I click the drop down and nothing happens, nada. This goes for the left-hand menu, as well as seperate widget areas etc. (Apologies for the noobish descriptions, I have no idea what the ‘correct’ names for these areas are!) I also can’t drag and drop widgets – there is another older post about this, but no answer.

    2) Lightbox doesn’t work – I have it set currently that all images on my site (http://www.19squadron.org.nz/wordpress) should open in a lightbox, but currently, no dice. The faded background loads, but no image pops up.

I have tried Chrome & Firefox, same deal.

(Sincerely sorry if there is another post relating to this. I did search, but was swamped by permalink issue posts! Thankfully I’m not having this problem at the moment)

    Help?

    Cheers Jeff

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Appears to have been a jquery issue with my theme.

Updated a line of code (provided very kindly by the theme creator) and everything is working fine again.

    Cheers – Jeff
