   Hi,

   I would insert a post for a while in frontpage (and in categories), then remove it from frontpage but not from categories.

   Are there any plugin for me?

   I would appreciate that too. I don't want to see event posts on the front page after the event has ended. So, an end date for the publishing on the "front page" would be very nice.

   Joomla can do that kind of thing, but it's not WordPress...

   Would "Posts Expire" work?

   If you're attempting to control your event posts, I'd highly recommend the EventCalendar3 plugin as it will allow you a lot more flexibility in posting events on your site.
