   Dear Friends,
   I am new to wordpress. Currently, I have just installed latest version of wordpress on my local hard disk. I am interested to have a front end posting so that users can submit posts/Links. I want them to post using front end so that they will not visit the dashboard. If the submission is just linking from external site then I would like them to submit the article title with the external URL using front end. So that when the post will be published, it will appear on the site as the title only (automatically linked to the user submitted URL).
   I found online that you can do such things using modification of function.php, but then the users have to go to dashboard to use the "custom field". I want this to be possible using front end. I found some plugins which can allow me to post using front end, but then they are not talking about post linking to external URL.

   Any help (plugin or without plugin) would be great.
