   I want to be able to take a photo on my Blackberry and post it on my blog by sending it from the blackberry (a gmail.com account thru BIS) to the email address I've set up for post-by-email; when I do this, the subject posts ok but the body text and the photo are replaced by a line of garbage text...

   ...originally, I couldn't even get rich text emails to post correctly; so I modified wp-mail.php. Then, I couldn't post via Blackberry; so I modified wp-mail.php again. Now I don't know what to do!

   i have pretty much the exact same issue. I'd be keen to see if anyone has figured a way to do this. Possibly a 2.8 include...?

   i read up quite a bit on this back in April when I had my first baby... i remember the issue being something to do with the content encoding...?

   Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
   Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

   I feel your pain! I'm having the same problems when I send photo/text posts (via email) from my blackberry. I hope we can find an answer!
