    Hi All,
    I've one problem with post thumbnail. I used WP 3.4.2. I create a post with a thumbnail. Before that, I change the

    the_content()
    to
    the_excerpt()
    in the theme loop.
    `
    Then I go to homepage (main frontpage), it's only show the excerpt text...so, where's my thumbnail?? When I change
    the_excerpt()
    to
    the_content()
    again, my frontpage shows the thumbnail, but the problem is the text appears too long or full article.

    Anyone can show me how the direction to solve my problem?

    thank in advance

    The excerpt, content, and thumbnail are three different things.

    Thanks for your replay

    I'm not sure what it's called. I assume you see any magazines website fontpage, there were couple excerpt contents in small boxes with small thumbnail and little paragraph.

    That's cool.

    And your goal is to show a small paragraph with a thumbnail picture only (not full post)?

    What theme are you using?

    I use tweenty eleven for this learning. I modify the css and llittle html mark up. I installed wp related post plugin, but lately I uninstall it. Is that caused the problem? or there's some function need to write on functions php?
