Hello I'm having a bit of trouble and really am not sure where to look at this point. I am starting to put together a wordpress site and have some sample (test) posts that I am plugging in and when I click on these particular posts they are only showing a portion of the post window cutting off anything below.
if you view this link here http://www.randyniles.com/wordpress/ and click on the first small icon just under the header img with the title "latest news" you'll see I colored the background of that posts box and the text is now showing all the full content - if you click on the next small icon monday cover post I have a youtube video embedded in it which is only showing the top portion of the video. Can anyone advise what I may be doing wrong I am really new to this.
here is the single.php file which I'm assuming should be associated with how the page looks once you go into a particular post.
Thank you for taking the time to view.
<?php get_header(); ?> <div id="main"> <div id="primary"> <?php if(have_posts()) : while(have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> <div class="post-item"> <img src="<?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, "Thumbnail", true);?>" /> <h2><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2> <p class="meta">posted by <?php the_author(); ?> on <?php the_date(); ?></p> <?php the_content('read more'); ?> <div class="numComments"> <a href="<?php comments_link(); ?>"><?php comments_number('0', '1', '%'); ?> Comments</a> </div><!--end numComments Class--> </div><!--end post-item--> <?php endwhile; ?> <?php else : ?> <p>The information you are looking for is not available.</p> <?php endif; ?> <div id="comments_template"> <?php comments_template(); ?> </div><!--end comments temmplate--> </div><!--End Primary Div--> <?php get_sidebar(); ?> </div><!--End main--> <?php get_footer(); ?>
