   Hi,
   I just realized if the word count is less than 55 in the post teaser, the 'read more' link will not display. Is it possible to ovveride this value? I don't want to use a plugin, this is supposed to be a simple setting.

   slightly depends on the codes relating to 'the_excerpt' that you already have in functions.php
