I upgraded to WP 2.8.4 and am having a problem that when I'm editing a post it lets me add whatever tags I want, but once I hit the "Update Post" button it completely removes ALL the tags associated with the post.
I've read around and I don't have the DB chache plugin installed, so that's not the issue and I don't know what is...
Is there a fix to this or am I going to have to downgrade to an earlier version until this problem is resolved... My problem with doing that is that some of the plugins I do have installed require WP v2.8 or higher.
PLEASE help!
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thank you so much! - I deactivated the plugins using the phpmyadmin technique and it worked like a charm (THANK G-D it didn't have anything to do with my theme... That wouldn't have been good)
