   Okay folk here is my problem :

   I would like to sort my posts in ascending order (so first post ever created is number one) BUT have the latest post displayed on my homepage.

   Why do that and not just sort them in descending order, Because I want my pagination to read 1,2,3,4,etc. And I would like my pagination to display something like; page 495 of 495 on the home page.

   I searched and searched, couldn't find a solution on my own...

   Can someone help me?

   I use wp 2.8.5
   Relevant plugin :
   WP-Pagenavi 2.50
   WP Post Sorting 1.2

   Hi

   How about if you use Order=ASC but make the latest post a 'sticky'?

   The 'sticky' setting is under the 'Publish; Visibility; Public; Stick this post to the front page' when you edit the post.

   You'll just need to 'unsticky' the last post when you add a new one. Then make the new post the 'sticky'.
