Post Pagination

I’m seeing a lot of themes lately with pagination for all site posts on the bottom of every post and page. Seems to be a new thing. What if you don’t want this, how to get rid of it? Archives and Category links are very adequate for navigation at my site. It has a great many posts and will have a lot more. So, the long horizontal row of post links at the bottom of a previewed theme doesn’t look nice… I might want to change themes occasionally just for a new “look”, even though Brunelleschi is still best for my needs on my main site.
