• Hi..

    Great plugin..

But I have some issues with it not showing the correct post order.
It somehow shows older posts from the same blog.

I’m using the widget – and it’s set to sort post by date.
You can see it in action here – http://petitpodium.dk/

Notice the date from this blog in its order:
    mit udtryk – 28/01/2013
    mit udtryk – 23/09/2012
    mit udtryk – 27/01/2013
    mit udtryk – 09/01/2013

Why does it do that ?

Its supposed to show 15 all recent posts from the whole network – it shows from the network, but in a very odd order.

** and a little suggestion – make it possible to control the post meta option. At the moment I have to alter the plugin to control date format, and hide stuff I don’t need in the post meta **

    Hello Brian,

Well Network Latest Posts pulls posts by the date they were modified, if you edited something in a post from 2012 it will be listed there, it doesn’t matter what kind of change, even opening and saving it again.

I’m aware of this, I’m currently working on the next major release which will include a lot of improvements a correct posts/date listing, including the meta information, and so on. The plugin is being entirely rewritten, that’s why it’s taking so long.

Someone sent me a patch to let you decide if you want to use posts’ publish date or modification date to avoid the results you’re seeing, I’ll patch the current version and release it soon.

    Best regards.

Also looking for a resolution to this.
