   Hi all.
   A question about posting material,
   links I have saved over past few months
   but am only now getting around to start my blog.
   I wondered if WP has the feature to post material
   as if it were posted a few months back? Is this a
   feature common to most blog software?

   Not sure what you mean by 'post meterial' but you can set post date in WP, it doesn't need to be the exact time you publish post.

   It's can be either in future or in the past.
