I'm helping my buddy out with his site http://mypornprofile.com/blog (NSFW). The blog is very interesting, it's a mix of social networking news with an adult industry twist. He has had the blog operational for at least 6 months and posts almost daily. When doing searches on Google, blog search specifically, none of his topics ever come up. Any suggestions of what might be going on?

I found the posts in the Google index, but they are not ranking. The site needs more incoming links from other adult sites and SEO:

This site's topic area is difficult to rank for because of the HUGE competition, so SEO, promotion, viral content (amazing pics and videos, top 10 lists, etc.), and careful keyword choices in the posts and post titles are vital.

Thank you for the feedback, my friend says he uses the SEO plugin, but only puts title and description. DOes it matter or not if he uses the keywords section?
No, meta keywords are useless. Good keywords in the post titles/content are what's important.
