I would have looked but I'm not even sure how I would create a search for what I'm trying to do. I'm a photographer / graphic designer, what I'm trying to accomplish here is that I do not want any blog posting on the main front page that you get when you first come to the site. What I'd like to know is there a way to tell WP where to put the post? Like I'd love to move it to a specific page called "News" but I cannot find any plugins that even remotely come close in description for doing this or any other viable information on this.

If you'd like to see my site and get an idea of what I'm trying to accomplish for look and feel it's http://www.rtwdesigns.com - This would give you a good idea that I wish to move the Blog Posting to News and not be on the front of the site. Trying to use the backgrounds as much as possible for a portfolio, so would like to have that front part on opening page as clean as possible.

    Thanks in advance!

You should not need a plugin - that's part of how WP works by default. You can set a static front page and then use a Category for "News" and put a menu item for that category.

    Thanks!

I had not even noticed that setting in the Reading section. That just tells me I've been working too much lately as I'm starting to look over obvious settings. Truly appreciate you pointing this out.
