   I'm using Custom Community on a new website. I would like to hear if there's anyone who can tell me, how to make a postlist with thumbnails on the frontpage?

   best method to do this.
   create a new page named "home" or no title.
   create a new page named "news" or "posts".

   under wp-admin / settings / reading
   set your new home page and posts pages.

   now you can use the list posts shortcode on your home page to list out your posts.

   [cc_list_posts category_name="example-posts" amount="3" img_position="mouse_over"]
