should the post id's for my custom post types be showing up when using this plugin? I have posts & pages set to show, but not sure if I need to do something to get this plugin to recognize my custom post types so it can show the id's? I guess I could just add a custom column to my custom post types display settings, but was wondering if the plugin was supposed to do it by default.

The plugin doesn't support custom post types at the moment.
There are plugins who do though, e.g.: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-show-ids/

Should be showing custom post type ids.
