   weird spam on post -> http://www.infinityloopmusic.com/08/archives/269

   how do i get rid of this or even see where this text is? i can't find it, and dont know how to resolve this...

   can anyone help?

   Man your blog is hacked and this is a clear case of spam injection.

   1) Upgrade your wordpress version if your are using older wordpress version (latest is 2.6.3)
   2) Check your theme files for possible malicious php code or completely change your theme or install new theme
   3) change your password

   how, pre tel, do you want someone here to help you?

   your site is hacked.

   you need to clean it out, and upgrade to a newer, secure version of wordpress.

   Furthermore, rewards are neat, if youre a pet or a zoo animal.

   If youre asking for paid help, say it, provide an email address, where people can contact you, the mod will lock this thread, and we can all move on, while you wait patiently for someone to contact you.

   If you dont want paid help, thats fine, but youre going to need to explain what you have done, what is confusing about what you need to do, and then, perhaps, someone can assist you further.

   I've updated to 2.6.3, I've changed my password, and I've looked for code that doesn't belong in the script, but I haven't been able to find anything or anyone that can tell me directly how to remove the spam content.... I've even changed the theme, doesn't get rid of the spam...

   the reward will be a access to all ILM releases (320k/wav quality) since 2005.

   I have found that deleting the post and re-publishing it gets rid of the spam but i still would like to know how to get rid of all of the hack code that is in my blog.

   Perhaps someone else will roll along and give you a hand but Im sorry, my 4 years of using wordpress isn't payable via wav files.

   wav files dont pay my bills.

   No offense, just not my gig.

   Not to say that I couldnt fix it, as ive yet to find a hacked blog that stumped me ..

   If you looked through enough of the threads I pointed you to above, you might have noticed that Ive reiterated that upgrading, changing passwords, blah, isnt enough. You might want to look at a few more if you havent. Ive been pretty vocal on the RIGHT way to clean up a hacked install.
