Post cutting off after "getcontent" (8 posts)

Ok so I've pulled my hair out today trying to figure this out. Last resort to the forum. I went to post today and I found that my post when loading posted the title date etc, but then stopped everything else from loading. In other words the content, other posts, sidebar, and footer all failed to load. When I looked at source it stopped at: "div class="post" "
So I clicked on the title, and on the single page for teh post everything was perfect. I'm using a modified "minima plus" theme if that helps. SO I posted another post with just a few lines of text. All ok.
So I figure something in the post is messing it up, but why in the "blog" but not on the individual page?
All tags are closed, I tried turning and turning off plugins, no luck...I thought it was a category problem, but after deleting the suspect category same problem.
On the "main template" this is where I think something is messing it up but I don't know what:
<?php if (in_category(34) && !$single) { $found=1; ?>

<?php echo wptexturize($post->post_content); echo ' '; comments_popup_link('(0)', '(1)', '(%)' ) ?>

<?php } else { ?> <?php if ($found == 1) { ?>

<?php $found =0;} ?>

Any help?

could accents be doing it? Like Dão and Aragonêz those seem to be the only variable. Does anyone know if they mess things up? I really don't know what to do. I have flash clips in my article but I have another article that has them and that one works fine. The only difference is the Portuguese accents...I think

Ok so continuing with my inner dialouge it is the accents! So what can I do about them? I need them, or else it won't be a very accurate article!

I hope someone reads this...Go to http://www.catavino.net
Notice the post at the top is the one I have been trying to get to work. It may or may not be the accents. Notice the post before it. "Sorry tyring to fix my Blog" If I delete this post then "Portuguese wine Vocab" won't work. I'm really confused. I was playing with parts of the main post to see which part was causing the weird behavior and I accidently posted the original after one of the "tests". The original worked, so I went to delete the "test". Then went back to see how it looked and the Original no longer worked. So I put back the "test" back up and it works...Not sure if I explained it right, but I'm not sure what is going on....ANythoughts....

Please help...The above dialouge that I thought was resolved is now effecting my rss feed. I'm getting this:

XML Parsing Error: unclosed CDATA section
Location: http://feeds.feedburner.com/catavino
Line Number 28, Column 25:

--------------------------------------^

Anyone want to help?

From a similar problem with my own blog, I found that simply removing the post from 'category 34' (which could be anything, depending on what you called it) solved the problem and the post appeared properly on the front page of the blog again.

For whatever reason, the main.php styles the post as 'linklog' if it's tagged with category number 34. I don't know why! Indeed it may be worth never tagging anything with cat 34, and renaming it something to remind you not to.
