    Hi everyone,

I'm running my blog using WordPress MU 2.9.2 and it was working really fine since I finally tried to add a comment, under the "hello world" post or under other posts. Tried every templates available, still not working. The "this is a comment" comment shows up, but none mine!! The comments are showing on the back-end of wpmu, and inside the database. Nothing weird, they seem OK, but for some reason, don't show up !
As I use wpmu, I have 3 sub-blogs to run tests, and it's always the same result : I can add and see my comments on sub-blogs, but not on the main wpmu blog. It's driving me crazy, since I was sure to have closed a big work on this website...

Any idea, similar experience, would be much appreciated. thanks everyone

    I ran more tests :
    1/ I activated ALL plugins on a sub-blog
2/ I activated the SAME template on the same sub-blog

I can post comments under any posts on this sub-blog, they show in the instant. Still, it's not working under the exact same conditions on the upper / main blog of my wpMu install. Any idea anyone ?

Did you try the default theme and no plugins on the main blog?

(also, plan an upgrade too... wpmu is now built in to 3.0)

    Good night / afternoon andrea.

Yes, I tried both solutions, no luck. I also did it backwards, activating everything, and using the very same template on my sub-blogs... and it was still working. I'm used to those bugs fights, but I'm really having a hard time on this one!

Couldn't possibly be that the main blog has moderation on, and the ones you're seeing in the back-end of the aren't yet approved?

    Andrea!

    find whose guilty :

As it's a multi language website, I didn't deactivate ZdMultiLang , as it's a absolutly necessary plugin for the web I've been asked to build. But when I deactivate it, comments show up...

So now, I'ma look into this ZdMultiLang plugin, because i MUST make it work with my web and my comments.

any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks for the support anyway, you push me to do the right thing.

    Got it !

If anyone's listening (and somehow interested):

When you're using ZDmultilang, wich is a very good language plugin for wordpress, don't forget to check " NO " to the

    >> Keep separate comments for each language <<

option down in Translations / General Options /

sorry for bothering you Andrea, thanks for the push, lots of love from Barcelona!
