Post by email without hyperlinks

    Hi all, I have a small problem with post to email that is driving me mad. Basically, I am trying to post a link, but I DONT WANT IT TO BE TURNED INTO A “a href…/a” link by worpress, but to be treated as normal text “p…/p”. This is because the Vanilla PDF Embed plugin looks for a hyperlink in text form, and embeds that (rather than a “a href” link, which it misses).

    Is there some way to stop wordpress from converting these emailed links to the “a href” format?

    Try asking the plugin’s developer this question.

    Thanks for the reply, but the question isn’t specific to the plug-in. I am sure there must be a general way to post via email without urls being turned into hyperlinks.
