Post attributions not showing at bottom of post (new WP 2.7 install!) (6 posts)

    I've just set up a new blog http://www.ReflectionsOfVietnam.com and the posts are not showing an attribution of who posted it. I've scoured the control panels many times and I can see how or why this is turned off. It would seem like a default setting that blog posts should show WHO posted it???

    Simple, your theme is not outputting that information, edit the theme (look at the default theme or one that does what you want to see how to do it)

    I'm getting closer... but I don't know the right php code
    is it like this
    <?Posted by <?php the_user(); ?>
    It seems to be igorning my theme changes after I hit the Update File button.

    I'm opposite. I'm trying to get rid of the commmentary at the bottom. I want it to look less like a post and more like content on a page. I'm sort of dumbfounded with HTML, but I know a little bit. Any help?

    remove the post meta stuff, then, kellyjeck. its impossible to tell you exactly what to remove without actually seeing an example, however a good generalized explanation of what's there is here:
