I am searching for a solution to allow me to offer a paid subscription member access to category-level posts going forward from the paid date. As an upgrade subscription, allowing access to previous posts (archives) prior to the paid membership date. Maybe similar to a magazine. Can this application do that?

    Thanks for the speedy response...

Guessing I can't read it until I pay up for the actual plugin. My free level login on your site won't show it. But, at least, I know you can do it. Since I can't read (and test) it, my follow-up question. Can I offer an 'upgraded' membership that will allow those members to see the old content?

    Chris,

That post isn't meant to be hidden for members. There is something up with my configuration there. But here is another link to the code:

    Sorry about that.

I have two separate WordPress websites. They are on the same host. The one that is a membership site is a sub-domain with its own name and separate address (i.e., it functions as a standalone). I would like to merge the sub-domain into the other website.

I believe I understand the mechanics of doing so, but am concerned regarding any issues that might arise with respect to PMP.

As I understand it, if I move the posts and pages over I should be able to install PMP on to the main website, set it up with the proper permissions and go forward, although am uncertain of the issues that may result from this.

One question involves the paying members. What will happen to the automatic Paypal charges? Do I have to ask them to re-register for the new site?

Another issue involves the permalinks. Currently, the PMP site uses the "numeric" classification for posts and pages. The site to which it will be moved uses the "day and time" classification. My plan is to change all to the "day and time." Will that be an issue?

What other issues may arise in this transfer with respect to PMP?

Thanks for any advice you might provide and thanks for a wonderful membership plug-in. I have tried other membership plug-ins and yours works best for me.

My two websites are http://www.economicnoise.com and the other http://www.iconoclastinvesting.com. The latter is the one that will be moved to the former.
