Hi,
Is it possible to have both subdomain blogs, as well as a sub folder blog ?
I'm asking because we just migrated a whole bunch of networked blogs over to wordpress multisite, but one of the original blogs belonged in a subfolder on the main domain, whereas all the others were subdomains.
Could anyone please help me? Thank you very much in advance!
Nope. Can't mix types in one install.
well, you kinda can if you wanted mainly subfolders, and mapped a handful of subdomains. But you're the opposite.
I think I'd fudge that with setting up a page template off the main site to get the right permalink, then use a custom page template to pull in the posts.

Solved using the wordpress redirect plugin.

Do note that it does change the address of the blog. ;)
