I'm using member access plugin to make it so that you need to be registered as a member to my website to view anything on the website.

What I would like to do though, to ensure people I don't want making accounts, well - don't is to make it so that you'd need to know a certain password or key to be able to make your account.

So say for example I could tell my group of friends to register, using the registration key "schoolbuddies" or something during registration.

Is this at all possible? or is this a pipe dream.

I was using the members only plugin but it seemed to conflict with the registration of new users, as it wouldn't send e-mails to new users with their generated passwords whilst the members only plugin was activated.

    Help would be fantastic !
