   Hi,

   I'm using posts to showcase real estate listings, but I actually like to use it to blog, too. Problem is, I really changed the post layout (single.php) to work specifically for showcasing homes for sale, providing fields such as sqft, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. Is there a way to have another layout specifically for posts/articles?

   You will want to review Template Hierarchy and understand how WordPress determines what Template to use in various situations.

   Thanks Michael. I went to the plugin you suggest, but unfortunately it doesn't work with the latest WP. So I googled "custom post template" and subsequently found one that was up to par:

   Custom Post Template v1.1 should be fine with the latest version of WordPress. Apologies for the inconvenience.
