Possible bug with Date Formats

    Hi there,
    Love this plugin but am having a problem using custom date formats.

    I added the following in the Show Post Info field: [post_date format=”F Y” ]

    It displays properly (i.e. January 2013, September 2012) when using the standard Genesis featured Posts widget, but when I use this plugin, it displays like this:
    &q000000201331;January and &q000000201230;September

    Thought I could do without this plugin so the dates would display correctly, but I really like the ability to customize the placement of the featured image!

    Is there something I can do on my end to make it work or does this require a plugin fix?
