   Hi,

   if you use UTF-8 as charset and edit an article which contains german Umlauts (äüß or something like that) in the quickanddirty - fast way ("Schnellbearbeitung" in the german version) the german Umlauts get destroyed. After you save your article the headline and the tags changed from "TrainerIn für unsere C-Mädchen (12-14 Jahre) gesucht" to "TrainerIn für unsere C-Mädchen (12-14 Jahre) gesucht".
   This just apears in the "fast-editing". If you edit an article in the usual way (with full set of features, quite as you write it new) the Umlauts don't get scrambled
