Portfolio Slideshow thumbnails not showing in IE 8 (6 posts)

I'm using the latest Portfolio Slideshow in the Twenty Eleven theme and it's work fine in firefox safari and chrome but the thumbnails are not visible in IE 8. I used [portfolio_slideshow thumbs=true] on the page and set them to show on the settings page but to no avail. I was going to get the pro version but i want to make sure it'll work in IE before I do that.
    Any help would be appreciated.

It's hard to troubleshoot without a link. Have you modified the theme in any way? What other plugins do you have installed?

If you're wondering how the Pro version works in IE, here's a demo of the standard thumbnail view: http://demo.madebyraygun.com/portfolio-slideshow/archives/47

And here's the carousel view: http://demo.madebyraygun.com/portfolio-slideshow/archives/61

We test everything in Twenty Eleven with IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, so it should definitely work.

    Hi Ray,
I just found a teeny tiny CSS bug in the plugin related to thumbnails and posted an update. Try downloading the new version (1.2.2) and see if that fixes the problem.

    Cheers,

    Hi Dan,
I loaded 1.2.2, deleted and re-uploaded the images, tried changing the size of the slideshow but the thumbs still don't show in IE.

    Hi Ray,
It's hard to say, I don't see anything immediately wrong with your site, but I do know that thumbnails work fine in IE 8 and TwentyTen/TwentyEleven. You'll need to figure out if it's another plugin or a CSS issue in your theme that's causing the problem. We have an FAQ on our site that provides advice on troubleshooting issues like this:

    Hope that helps.
