It seems like the plugin stopped working with WordPress mu.
I fixed it by commenting out the part in the functions.php file on lines 198 - 207, I am guessing, the part used to be there when the plugin relied on timthumb functionality.
Also may I suggest changing the function name from get_image_path to something like portfolio_slideshow_get_image_path.

Yeah, I'll be removing that function completely from the next version of the plugin. In the meantime can you tell me how your multisite network is set up? It's working in my test network.

I just wanted to let you know that I published a new version of Portfolio Slideshow to GitHub with some changes that I think will take care of the WP multisite problem. If you would be willing to try it out before I put it in the WP repository I'd be grateful.
