portfolio slideshow – how do I create different slideshows?

    i)
    For the moment, I’m going via the route of uploading images into a gallery -> putting shortcode in a page

    But the problem now I’m facing is the images which are not in the gallery, but in my uploaded media files of my WordPress account are also showing up! 🙁

    How do I resolve this?

    ii) I read that
    “To select a different page parent ID for the images:
    [portfolio_slideshow id=xxx]”

    Does this mean I could create different slideshows and call a specific slideshow using the shortcode above?
    If yes, where can I get this parent ID for the slideshow? I can’t seem to view this on my ‘edit post’ area. (I’m using post to create gallery – as I read that using post and page is okay to create gallery – unless the documentation is wrong). 🙁
