1) Please describe what do you mean: ‘all themes broke after the plugin was installed’? What exactly is wrong? If portfolio page looks not like other pages, then it doesn’t mean that something wrong with plugin. It is difficult to creaet such template which will have the same displaying on each WordPress theme. Our templates were created based on WordPress standards and have the same structure like twentyten or twentyeleven. If you’ll activate our plugin using standard WP theme we’ll see that everything is working correctly and with out any crash. For other theme it is necessary to add changes in styles file (‘style.css’ file of your template), and after that portfolio template will be consisted with other pages. If you need any help with that you can contact us.
2) “Also noticed that the plugin does not perform a clean uninstall. Leaves DB changes behind.” – what is exactly cannot be unistalled? After uninstall process all templates will be deleted from the theme folder, as well as all plugin’s settings. Only portfolio posts and releated records from the postmeta table are not deleting after unistall process. These data are not deleted to avoid data structure damages of these two tables, but they are not interrapted users, because without plugins they will be not active, like there are no such file in database at all.

It seems that it is not possible to add tags to a portfolio.
I would like this feature so thta these tags appear in a tagcloud for instance.
Can you help me out her?

Hello,
Please go to the portfolio section which called ‘Technologies’, it is similar to the post tags.
You can use Technologies widget for displaying tags which is located on the widget page.

Hi,
I see what you mean with Technologies.
That’s not what i’m looking for though.
I use the technologies to group my portfolio’s.
I would like to be able to add multiple tags to one portfolio item just like any other ordinary message.
That way i’m more flexible with my tags.
Also i want these tags to be mixed with all the other message tags, not just on tagcloud vor the technologies.

It would be very helpful if you can describe how you are going to use these tags. As we understood you are sorting portfolio via technologies, but why do you need tags then?

As in original tags you can add as many technologies as you wish to one portfolio.

Hello Oksana,
WordPress works with a standard tagcloud in wich it collects all the tags that i entered in normal messages. In a normal messag i can type multiple tags wich all count for the tagcloud.
I want the portfolio items to be seen as messages too and the ability to type in (multiple) tags as well per portfolio item.
These tags should also count for the normal WordPress tagcloud and not a tagcloud of its own (with technologies in this case).

If we’ll add general tags to the portfolio they wouldn’t appear in the post. That is why we’ve created custom tags, because it is possible to connect custom tags with several posts (posts, pages, portfolio ect.)
