Hi there. I'm looking to implement something in to WordPress but am not a web developer so am looking for some advice / help on how to go about it.

    AIM:
    -INPUT
To create a page that anyone can fill in: where they first of all select whether you're a band, music label, or music venue - the form will then change when one of these is selected to show other fields. They then fill in information in other boxes, such as location, genre of music, upload a picture, link to website, etc.

Then when this is saved, it will be automatically posted as a wordpress post in the relevant category (eg band, music label or music venue).

The user who has filled in the information will also then be registered to the site and will be able to log in to change their post (if possible)

    RESULT:
    -DISPLAY

The aim is for these posts to then be searchable as a database of such. So on a bands page - which should list all the posts, they can be searched by various means. Such as genre, location, star ratings, etc.

The idea is to say allow a venue in London who are looking for acoustic bands to search from a drop down menu or something similar: Location: London, Genre: Acoustic.

    - This is pretty long winded, but I am very interested in developing this - or paying someone else to develop it for me.

    - Any advice on how to go about it with plugins? Or whether a developer would be able to do this for me?
