So recently I started getting alerts that my name was showing up in a series of adult blogs "owned" by the same domain name -- turns out these blogs are reproducing my blog posts in their entirety and without my permission -- I can only guess via my RSS feed, somehow? I certainly didn't cross post them there, and I've written to the ISP but wonder how I can prevent this in the future? Is there a way to tell how they're accessing the content, via feed or what?
thanks for the help...

Issue a DMCA take-down notice to the ISP. You'll need to be very specific on what content is violating your copyright, but it's pretty much a sure-fire way to get the job done.

Check who is hosting that website in http://www.whoishostingthis.com
Visit their hosting provider. You will find contact information. It can be abuse@ or dmca@
Now search for a Yahoo DMCA sample template. Create a DMCA letter like that. Try to fax it to the hosting provider if they have given any fax number.
Use feedburner.com to insert a Copyright information on your site feed.
