I can't get the popup to show on a specific page. Do you have any idea how to fix it? See a screenshot of settings here.
Thanks in advance,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I checked your site https://www.huisenthuis.nl/thuismeubelenkopen/ and found that you are using Custom Load Pop Over loading method which loads pop over separately from the page via a custom front end ajax call but i didn't see any ajax call in the browser network console.
Can you just try using Page Footer or External Loader Pop Over loading method from the path Admin -> Pop overs -> Settings
Thank you for your answer.
Strangely enough, it was set to External Load Pop over when I just checked it. I tried all tree load options once more and none of them seem to work.
Can you maybe think of any other solutions?
Thanks in advance,
Thanks for your reply.
I just wanted to check your site again for finding another solution for it but when i visited your site i got the following error message.
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
Can you just check it so that i can troubleshoot it?
Can you just make following simple debugging so that it can help us to find bottle neck of problem.
- Disable all plugin except WordPress PopUp and check it
- Switch to default WordPress theme Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen and check it
- Set WP_DEBUG to true in your WordPress wp-config.php file and check whether there's any error message
I found the same thing using External Load after WordPress 3.7 / 3.7.1
External load worked fine up to then.
Checking page source the java file popoverlegacy.js and the inline script wasn't loading.
Switched to Page Footer, and re-saved the pop up box as well. Working again :)
Thanks for letting us know that, it happens some time depending on the theme that one Pop Over loading method doesn't work but another works therefore we have provided different three pop over loading methos which you can choose from Pop Over Settings.
@morebassintheplace: Did you go through according to above suggestion? Any luck yet?
@mikeotgaar: Thanks for the idea. Just one thing FYI, (may be you know, but worth to mention for other users - hope you wouldn't mind):
Checking page source the java file popoverlegacy.js
Was worth mentioning - my lazy typing fingers being lazy :)
Thanks again Sir!
