Populate Image from Shortcode

    Hi

    I really love your gallery style portfolio layout and it is just what I was looking for. However, I need the image to be populated from a shortcode from another plugin or from the content in the text editor. I am trying to pull in a browser screenshot as the portfolio image, and I am having trouble with Shrink the Web and having better luck with Browser Shots. Is this something we could possibly add in to the next update?

    Also, the information given on each portfolio item is not very informative to the end viewer. Your software is more gauged for visual only items, as I am using it for a web site portfolio, I need to give a little more information. So, perhaps when an item is clicked on, an option for a smaller image and some developer information under the image within the lightbox would be perfect.

    Hello,

    Do you mind sharing what issues you are having with shrinktheweb? As of right now rio-portfolio is not a certified integration but perhaps we can work with the author of the plugin to get it certified and functioning correctly.

    Well, at the moment, Shrink the Web is blocking my images from coming across due to some kind of IP conflict.

    This is their response:
    “I just noticed your post in the word press forum and posted a reply. As for why you were getting no answer, your logs indicate that the IP address being used by your script is a shared IP address and is reserved by another user. For security and abuse prevention, Shared IP addresses are not supported on free accounts. To resolve this issue either upgrade your account to a Basic or Plus Account or obtain a dedicated IP Address”

    At the moment, it seems to be a bit too involved just for simple screen captures.

    I have another plugin called “Browser shots” (http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/projects/bm-shots-automated-screenshots-website/), which works perfectly to grab screenshots.
