   I upgraded Popularity Contest and my site is down. The index page does not open and I can't log into the admin control panel. When you point your browser to the website the error message is all that is displayed:

   Error: Popularity contest cannot be installed.

   I used the automatic upgrade link on my admin to upgrade to the newest version of Popularity Contest. After reading some similar posts on this website, I deleted all 4 plugins and also deleted the plugins folder. That did not fix the problem.

   Please does anyone have any suggestions!

   I read your post. What you described is exactly my problem. However, I already deleted all of my plugins and the plugin folder that the plugins were in and the my website is still dead and displaying the error message. Any suggestions would be appreciated, because I don't know what to do.
