I am trying to set up blog by email.
I edited the wp-mail.php, with my correct pop mailserver and standard 110 port. Adding the uid and pwd.
When I run the wp-mail.php file from the browser, like the documetation states I get the message "POP3 connect: No server specified"
Can somebody help me solve this.

I'd like to bump this question HARD.
I've read every forum page about POP3 fwding and wordpress, and tried several different accounts (hotmail, yahoo and gmail, specifically) hoping to find something not SSL enabled that would allow me to post via email.
I am continually getting POP3 connect: No server specified on every try.
I have tried 110 and 995 ports on each of the three accounts I've created, still same message.
I have tried including just the username, and then the entire email address. and I still get the same error message.
Please please please help me with a workaround to this...

Oh, FYI, I updated to 2.5.1 and it's running beautifully except for this issue with the email posting.
Also, I tried to use posties, and same message, more or less.
