Pop-Up Will Not Pop-Up

    I have Displet installed on multiple sites, but the pop-up won’t come up in any browser I use. This is true of everyone else I’ve asked to test the site. It simply will not show up.

    The other plug-ins I currently have installed are: Akismet, All in One SEO Pack, AddThis Social, Meebo for Sites, Sharecount for Facebook TweetMeme Retweet Button, WP-Polls, XCloner, Yoast Breadcrumbs.

    Please disable all other plugins & then use test mode to test. It’s probably one of your social plugins conflicting.

    I have been having the same issue. I just upgraded to 1.2.9 but it hasn’t resolved anything.

    I’ve attached a link to a screen grab, so you can see the settings I’m using, but basically, when I’m in test mode, the screen darkens after the criteria are met, but no pop up appears. If I click anywhere in the screen, the page is active again. I am using the latest version of Chrome in Win 7. If I take test mode off, I don’t get anything. I get the exact same behavior in IE, but in Firefox I don’t even get the dark screen in test mode.

    I have disabled ALL plugins and nothing changed. I’ve also attached a screengrab of my plugins.

    I’m at a loss where to go to try and fix this one. Is it a theme issue? A browser one? Or does it lie within the plugin?

    Thank you for the advice. I tried disabling each plugin one at a time, and finally all plugins at once. I still could not get the pop-up to come up in any browser on multiple machines.

    What would you suggest from here?

    Check to see if it’s a theme conflict. Enable twenty11 or twenty12 and see if the plugin works.

    Bear in mind that, in test mode, only a logged in admin will see the light window. If you’re testing without test mode, you must make sure and clear your cookies frequently.

    If you’d like to provide a screenshot of your settings & a link to your site, I would be happy to take a look. Likewise, it would be a good idea to check Chrome console and see if you have any JS erros on page.
